Appellants City of San Angelo Fire Department and Kelly Hood are defending a lawsuit brought by Sheila Hudson alleging personal injury and property damage caused by the operation or use of a motor vehicle by a governmental entity or employee under the Texas Tort Claims Act. See Tex. Civ. Prac. & Rem. Code Ann. çç101.001-.109 (West 2005). Appellants assert that, because the City and Hood enjoyed sovereign immunity and official immunity, the trial court erred in denying their motions for summary judgment. We will reverse the order of the trial court and render judgment dismissing Hudsons claims.
